Betsy Marks is a coach and consultant with more than 25 years of human resource and learning and development experience. She partners with organizations to meet their business objectives by helping leaders build productive teams. Her work includes executive coaching and team facilitation as well as customized training design and delivery.

Betsy has extensive experience as a coach to emerging leaders and high-potential succession candidates. Clients consistently report that Betsy excels at inspiring individuals to leverage their talents and help turn talents into creative performance. Her past employers include Apple, Northern Telecom, Informix and Exxon Enterprises.

While at Apple, Betsy managed a one-year leadership development program for Apple's high potential managers and delivered Apple's Management Essentials training program focused on improving team dynamics and individual performance. As a Career Management leader, she began Apple's first Career Resource Center created to support the succession and redeployment activity vital for the company's health.

Betsy's client base spans industries and geographies: Adobe Systems, Apple, Blue Coat, City of Scottsdale, Nvidia, Palm, Saba Software, SanDisk, San Jose State University. Santen, Silicon Valley Bank and Sun Microsystems. Betsy has an M.B.A. in Organizational Development and a B.S. in Management and Marketing from Indiana University. She has active certifications in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strength Deployment Inventory, Profilor 360, Booth 360 and Situational Leadership. She holds a certificate in Mediation Services from Palo Alto Mediators. Betsy travels extensively but divides most of her time between the Bay Area of California and Scottsdale, Arizona.
